Luis Norberto Rivera, age 81, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at his residence with his loving wife at his bedside. He was the son of the late Vincente and Flora Rivera born on December 25, 1937 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Luis honorably served his country in the United States Army USATC FA Ft Cbaffe Arkansas . He met the love of his life, Maria Roman in New York. They married on September 21, 1962 in Manhattan, New York. This happy union of 57 years was blessed with two children. Professionally, he work for the (Army, Business, State Government in Puerto Rico) before retiring. After retiring he work part time Performance plus Central for 14 years.

Luis is survived by his loving wife, Maria Roman of Indianapolis, Indiana; his loving children, Denise Rivera, Luis N Rivera and his wife Lizy Pena, Luis E.Rivera, Alondra N Rivera, and John Garcia.

He is preceded in death by (Father Vicente Rivera and Mother Flora Rivera) and his sisters Maria Dolores Masso and Carmen Lydia Masso.

Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Indiana Funeral Care – Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana.
